About Us

The term “Paladin” encapsulates the integrity and fortitude with which we endeavor to reduce your taxes.  This means keeping more of your hard-earned money to support your family or grow your business.  As seasoned advocates, we understand the burden property taxes place on people and businesses. Unchecked, governments will inevitably increase this burden. We seek to effectuate a balance more favorable to you.

Founded in Corpus Christi, Paladin Tax Consultants began in 2013 as a father and son duo when Ben Thomas joined his father Frank Thomas in the property tax consulting industry. Frank, who is now retired, was an active consultant for over 25 years. Paladin Tax Consultants moved to San Antonio in 2016 and continues to mitigate the tax burden on properties throughout Texas and surrounding states.

We choose to focus exclusively on the valuation of real and personal property. In so doing, we are positioned as the subject-matter experts for reducing your property tax expenditures.

Our professionals have dedicated their careers to building and maintaining relationships with assessor offices, appraisal districts, and other property tax consultants across the country. These relationships along with our in-depth understanding of local property markets place us in an ideal position to assist you with your property tax needs.

To ensure your interests are aligned with ours, we work solely on a contingency-fee basis. You do not pay any upfront costs, and you pay us only when you save.
